How does the SpeechWaysTM Program Work?
These Speech Therapy Techniques allow YOU to work with your child when YOU'RE ready, to overcome speech disorders in children.
SpeechWays is a system of Therapy Cards that have actual speech therapy techniques written right on the Cards, worded in a way that tells parents EXACTLY what to say to your child to help him/her say their speech sounds correctly. There is also guidance for helping your child to begin saying those correct sounds in their conversational speech. Having SpeechWays is like having your own personal speech therapist on hand!
Each Speech Therapy Card in the SpeechWays program addresses a specific target speech sound, with complete instructions for how to teach the sound to your child, how to achieve early carryover of the sound into conversation, and trouble-shooting ideas for maximum results. THESE ARE NOT FLASHCARDS! This is a system of Speech Therapy Cards that teach YOU, the parent, how to use SPEECH THERAPY techniques to help enhance your OWN child's speech and language.

Along with each speech therapy card, you will receive a card with an introduction to the Program, general guidelines for how therapy should progress, how to reinforce the sounds in conversation, and when to seek out a Speech-Language Pathologist for an assessment, if necessary. You will also be guided as to what age you should start your child working on their specific sounds.
